Story: Boyd and Byron were rescued from an auction where they were slammed into the ground. They were just newborn babies. As a result of their abuse, Byron suffered brain damage and spent weeks in the hospital with severe neurological symptoms after his rescue. Thankfully, Byron recovered and he and Boyd live happily together at Rancho Relaxo. When visiting a sanctuary you can often tell who was rescued together as you can find them right next to each other. Non-human animals form strong bonds and friendships, just as we do.
