Caption: Bernard, also known as Bernie, was rescued from a farmer along with his best friend, Ronnie. They were both adopted by JP Farm Animal Sanctuary through Farm Sanctuary's adoption network.
He is very friendly, though slightly more reserved than his friend Ronnie. Bernie and Ronnie stick together mostly, but Bernie is content taking a walk on his own as well. He is very interested in the chickens and will hang out near them, wishing he could mingle with them.
