Caption: Bruce was born on a beef farm, where he would have been killed between 14-36 months of age had he stayed there. Bruce escaped his paddock and became ill after being separated from his mother and her immunity-building colostrum. His illness actually saved his life, as Bruce needed more medical attention than the farmer was willing to provide. Luckily Bruce was taken in by Farm Sanctuary and his life was forever changed! He now lives at JP Farm Animal Sanctuary where he has a beautiful field to roam with his best friend, Evan, and compassionate humans to care for him.
