Location: Sowa Goat Sanctuary
Story: Merlin is one of the OG goats at the sanctuary. Merlin and his brother Kurloz were rescued from the dairy industry at 12 weeks old. When we think of dairy we typically think of cows, but goats are victims of the dairy industry as well. As with cows, male goat kids are considered byproducts and are typically sold for slaughter since they cannot produce milk. Thanks to Sowa Goat Sanctuary, Merlin and Kurloz escaped this fate. They are almost 5 years old now and live a beautiful life surrounded by love and family.
