My encounter with this snowy owl was one of the most memorable experience I have had while photographing wildlife this year. Snowy owls, in my mind, are nothing short of magical. While this snowy owl snoozed on and off she remained aware of her surroundings, looking up at gulls and airplanes that occasionally flew over her. After looking up at a passerby she yawned and closed her eyes once again.
