Location: Road to Refuge Animal Sanctuary
Caption: Bubbles was born on a small local farm that breeds mini jersey cows. Since Bubbles was a male the farmer did not want to keep him. Road to Refuge Animal Sanctuary took Bubbles in and gave him a wonderful home. Male calves, like bubbles, are considered byproducts of the dairy industry. It is rare for male dairy calves to go to a good home. The reality is most are slaughtered as babies.
